Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse – Outpatient Clinic

Job Details

• Shift: Monday to Friday, 5x8 hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Setting: Outpatient Clinic
• Required Experience:

  • Previous outpatient clinic experience required
  • GI Clinic experience preferred
• Required Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
• State License: Wisconsin or Compact license accepted (pending license OK with estimated 3-week ETA)
• Locals Accepted: Yes, but at a lower rate

Required Qualifications & Compliance

• Background Checks:

  • 7-year background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
  • Includes SS trace, county searches for last 7 years, nationwide sex offender check

• Certifications:

  • BLS (ARC or AHA acceptable)
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP as applicable (not required for this role but may be relevant for other specialties)

• Health Requirements:

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Negative QGold TB test within 1 year (Chest X-Ray acceptable if within 60 days)
  • Immunizations or positive titers for: Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen with expanded opiates within 14 days before start
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct-Mar)

• Competency Exams:

  • Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
  • Color blind testing if working in dialysis/kidney center (not applicable here)
  • Other competency exams as applicable to specialty

• Facility Specific Requirements:

  • Photo for badge (passport style, no filters)
  • Compliance checklist and confidentiality statement to be completed prior to start

• References:

  • Two professional references verified within 2 years of start
