Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of primarily adult patients in an inpatient environment. This role requires competency in delivering care aligned with the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice.

Required Qualifications

Education

Associate’s degree in nursing (required)
Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred)

Licensure & Certifications

Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) participating state
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or equivalent
AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers or equivalent

Experience

Clinical competence and experience in care and management of cardiac progressive care patients (years of experience not explicitly stated; assume minimum required is completion of nursing education and licensure)

Additional Information

Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice consistent with completion of accredited nursing education
Experience focused on adult inpatient cardiac progressive care population
