Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel/Contract)
Location: Richland, Washington
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Position does not float between units
- No on-call required
- Weekend work required: Every Saturday
- No block schedules required
- Expected patient ratio: 1:1

Experience Requirements

Compliance & Background Requirements
- Background check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start, updated monthly
- Education verification required for all candidates
- State-specific searches for Washington and border states required (updated every 2 years for certain facility types)
- WA Nurse Aide (CNA) OBRA Registry Search required for CNAs working in Skilled Nursing Facilities in Washington
- Drug testing: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Fit mask test required for travel candidates (updated annually)
- Immunizations and health documents required:
- TDAP (within 10 years or declination)
- Negative TB or Chest X-Ray (updated annually)
- MMR (Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Flu vaccine or declination during flu season
- COVID vaccine or declination
Scheduling & Work Expectations
- Weekend work every Saturday required
- No on-call or floating between units
- 1:1 patient ratio
Training & Competency Requirements
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
- Competency exams as required by specialty
- Color Blind Testing (if required by unit)
- Specialty-specific WorkRamp training modules and annual regulatory modules required
- Epic training modules required for certain regions and specialties
Documentation & History
- Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment within last 3 years (6 months for CNAs) from supervisors
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years (7 years for APN/Subcontractors) with month/year format
- Skills checklists updated annually (as applicable)
- Radiation badge issued by facility if applicable
Additional Notes
- Float policy acknowledgement required (may be required to float to other Providence facilities within reasonable distance)
- Badge photo required (passport style with neutral background)
- Kronos job-aide and attestation form required for contingent workers
