Unit: Geriatric Psychiatric
Setting: Adult inpatient area
Number of Beds: 9
Staffing:
- Day Shift: 2 RNs, 2 Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs), Sitters as assigned
- Night Shift: 1 RN, 2 BHTs, Sitters as assigned
Patient Ratios: 5-9 patients per nurse
Typical Equipment: Vital signs machine, Hoyer lift, glucometer, IVs, bladder scanner, bed alarms, chair alarms, crash cart
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Cerner

Job Requirements

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health
Required Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
Licenses: Registered Nurse License
Years of Experience Required: 2 years in specialty (Behavioral Health)
Prior Travel Experience: Not specified as required
