Job Opportunity: RN Med/Surg - Nights

Location: Salida, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 10 weeks

Job Description

• Work 3 night shifts per week (36 hours total)
• No mandatory overtime; overtime is allowable
• Provide acute care and swing bed patient care as part of a team
• Evaluate health status through data collection and assessment
• Provide health teaching, counseling, therapy, and treatment supportive of patient well-being
• Execute delegated medical functions and review treatment plans
• Accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, teaching, and care coordination
• Collaborate with ancillary departments and physicians to address medical, social, and spiritual patient needs in a culturally and age-appropriate manner

Education & Experience Requirements

• Minimum: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licenses & Certifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse license in Colorado required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred

• Specialty: Nursing (Medical/Surgical)
