Description

Job Opportunity: Registered CT Technologist (Weekend Shift)

Location: Delta, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Responsibilities

Transport patients according to their physical abilities for exams
Use positioning aides to ensure quality patient exams
Operate all CT-related equipment
Protect patients following X-Ray Department policies and procedures
Assist/administer contrast media as ordered by Radiologist
Assist in performing special procedures
Assist in training Radiology students
Practice sterile technique and Universal Precaution
Maintain records according to X-ray Department policies
Clean rooms after each examination
Restock linen and supplies as needed

Required Qualifications

Registered/certified CT Technologist (ARRT registration required)
BLS Certification required
Completion of formal radiology technology training from an AMA-approved school
Minimum 2 years of previous CT technology experience preferred
