Job Opportunity: RN Infusion Oncology

Location: Janesville, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

  • Provide compassionate, culturally sensitive, holistic nursing care in a clinical setting
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members using the nursing process and critical thinking
  • Perform patient assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing standards and state laws
  • Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation
  • Develop and execute individualized patient care plans
  • Educate patients and families at appropriate levels of understanding
  • Participate in department/unit performance improvement and shared governance activities
  • Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments as needed
  • Manage complex patient safety situations and delegate tasks appropriately
  • Engage in continuous learning, professional development, and evidence-based practice guideline updates
  • Support and participate in peer review and feedback opportunities
  • For clinic and ambulatory settings, maintain timely patient flow and perform telephone triage
