Job Requirements

• Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in the Emergency Department required.
  • Candidates with both ICU and ED experience will be considered.
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required.
• Certifications Required Before Start:

  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • Handle with Care (available on-site)
  • NIH Certification
  • PALS or ENPC
• Licensure: Registered Nurse License

Position Details

• Shift: Mid shift (7 PM – 7 AM)
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
• Weekend Hours: Rotating weekends/as needed
• Call Requirements: None
• Float Requirements: As needed
• Number of Openings: 1
• Patient Population: All ages (geriatric, adult, pediatric)
• Patient Ratios: Typically 1:4; exceptions may occur during high volume or special circumstances
• Unit Profile:

  • 31 beds plus 2 triage rooms
  • 7 beds utilized for Behavioral Health or Acute patients
• Electronic Health Records (EHR): Primarily MedHost (ED), Meditech for admit holds and behavioral health patients
