Job Opportunity: Home Health Physical Therapist

Location: Santa Maria, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Home Health Physical Therapist for a travel contract. The role involves providing care in a home-based setting within an assigned geographical region.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
Active California PT license
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Experience with Oasis (government-mandated form)
Home health setting experience preferred but not required

Work Details

Schedule: Majority of hours Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, flexible shifts
Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
Holidays: Minor holidays off; major holidays worked if needed
Orientation: 1.5 to 2 weeks floor-specific orientation
Uniform: Business attire with white lab coat; no jeans
Patient Types: Orthopedic, stroke, joint, spinal injuries
EMR System: Cerner
Rehab Aides/OTA/PTA support available (usually permanent staff)

Additional Notes

Candidates must be comfortable covering a designated geographical region
8-hour workdays
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
