Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Dubuque, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Operate as primary/secondary circulator in the Cath Lab (no scrubbing)
Equipment experience required with:
- Artis Zee C-Arm
- Impella
- IABP
- Acist Injector
Patients/scans per day: approximately 4
EMR system: EPIC CUPID (highly preferred)
Scrubs provided (light blue)

Experience Requirements

Minimum 24 months (2 years) experience in Cardiac/Cath Lab (required)
Minimum 24 months (2 years) experience in Med Surg, Telemetry, or Med/Tele (required)
Must have completed at least 1 prior travel contract within the last 12 months (prior travel experience required)
NO first-time travelers

Certifications Required

Active Iowa RN license or compact/multistate license at time of submission (required)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) (required)
BLS (Basic Life Support) (required)
NIH Stroke Scale certificate (highly preferred; can be obtained during onboarding)

Additional Requirements

Skills checklist specific to Med Surg, Tele, or Med/Tele discipline (required)
Professional reference or performance evaluation within last 24 months (preferred)
Valid driver’s license (required)

Notes

NIH stroke certificate can be obtained during onboarding (preferred)
Must be able to quickly respond to interview requests (phone/text from a 405 area code)
