Job Description

• Position is for an Infusion RN with specific experience in an Infusion Center (not just oncology).
• Must have current RN license in California.
• Must hold Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) chemo-bio certification (valid for 2 years).
• Work schedule: 9 hours per day (8:00 AM - 5:30 PM), variable days, every other weekend.

Required Qualifications

• Valid California RN license.
• ONS chemo-bio certification specific to Infusion Nursing.
• Infusion Center experience required.
• Background checks including 7-year history, education verification, and various federal/state screenings are mandatory.
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Other certifications may be required depending on position specifics (verify with employer).
• Physical exam within 1 year of start.
• Fit mask test within 1 year, renewed annually.
• Immunizations and health screenings required:

  • TB test or chest x-ray (annual renewal)
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity or vaccination
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or declination
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination
  • Seasonal flu vaccination during flu season
• Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids due to CA law).
• Competency exams as applicable (medication/pharmacology, dysrhythmia/EKG, etc.).
• Employment history verification for 7 years with no gaps over 30 days.

Summary
