Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)
Location: Lincoln, Nebraska
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
A hospital in Eastern Nebraska is seeking a CT Technologist / X-Ray Tech. The position requires working with GE VCT 64 slice and GE Revolution 128 slice CT scanners. The department includes multiple imaging modalities such as MRI, CT, X-ray, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology, and Mammography.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform varied imaging studies primarily in CT and X-ray.
- Float and cover other areas including CT, X-ray, OR, Endoscopy, and Emergency Department.
- Use EMR system EPIC and PACS system McKesson.
- Participate in rotational call (1 every 4 weekends and weekday call).
- Work 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730) plus call.
- Complete 1-2 shifts of unit/department-specific orientation.
Required Qualifications
- Certified CT Technologist (ARRT-CT)
- BLS Certification
- Valid Driver’s License (used to verify candidate location within 50-mile radius)
- Experience with GE CT scanners and EPIC EMR system preferred
- Must comply with fingernail policy: artificial nails prohibited in patient care areas
- Flexibility, positive attitude, and willingness to learn and work are essential
Additional Information
- Call required with varied response times.
- Holiday and weekend work required.
- Radius rule: candidates must live within 50 miles and cannot be currently employed full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit (including CHI and Dignity).
- Radiation badge provided by client.
- Rapid turnaround time required for onboarding (7 days or less for this 13-week contract).
