Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Job Summary

Seeking a CT Tech with at least 1 year of experience in Radiology/Cardiology. First-time travelers are accepted. Local candidates are also welcome.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty (Radiology / Cardiology)
• Certifications:

  • AART (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
• License: Must hold a valid California state license for Radiologic Technologists, including CPDH Certificate for RTs in CA
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Required Documents & Compliance

• Background Check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually
• Drug Screen: 10-panel within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
• Physical Exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
• Immunizations and Health Requirements:

  • TDAP (within 10 years) or declination
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
  • Seasonal Flu vaccine or declination (required during flu season)
  • COVID vaccine or declination
• Respirator Fit Test (Fit Mask) required for travel starts on or after 2/5/2024, updated annually (not required for Radiation Therapists at this facility)
• References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years
• Employment Application covering at least last 5 years of employment

Training & Competency Requirements

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
• Competency Exams as required by specialty
• Color Blind Testing if specifically requested
• Skills Checklist updated annually (if applicable)

Facility-Specific Training Modules (WorkRamp)

• Completion of Core and Specialty-specific WorkRamp modules prior to start is required, including:

  • Core Modules for Radiology/CT Techs in California
  • Specialty Modules for Radiology/CT Techs in California
  • Annual Regulatory Requirements modules
• Epic Access training modules may be required depending on assignment location

Additional Notes

• Float Policy Acknowledgement required; may be asked to float to other Providence facilities within reasonable distance
• Background checks and education verifications are required as per Providence Health and Services standards
• Some state-specific background checks and attestations may apply if working in border or multi-state regions

Summary

This is a travel contract opportunity for a CT Tech with at least 1 year of experience in Radiology/Cardiology, located in Burbank, CA.
