Job Opportunity: Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist
Location: Denver, Colorado
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Job Summary
- Provide technical support in the cardiac catheterization laboratory during invasive cardiovascular procedures.
- Assist physicians in radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures and act as scrub assistant while maintaining sterile conditions.
- Operate imaging equipment and monitor/document procedure images and events from the control room.
- Provide patient care under RN supervision.
- Educate patients and families about the procedure, expectations, and pre/post procedure physical conditions.
- Maintain order, cleanliness, and appropriate stock levels for complex interventions and diagnostic procedures.
- Complete daily, progress, and discharge documentation according to departmental standards.
- Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and potential safety hazards.
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization and adhere to service behavior standards.
Contract Length
- Approximately 13 weeks (89 days rounded to nearest week)
Experience Requirements
- Preferred: 2 years of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab
