    Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (MS/Tele)

    Location: San Francisco, California
    Employment Type: Travel/Contract
    Contract Length: 13 weeks


    Job Description

    • Care for patients with liver, kidney, and pancreatic diseases
    • Care for recipients of liver, kidney, and pancreas transplants
    • Manage patients with complex gastrointestinal disorders
    • Serve as a med-surg/telemetry overflow unit
    • Shift: Days 07:00 - 19:30, every other weekend
    • Floating to other units as needed

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid California RN License
    • BLS Certification (AHA or ARC)
    • Transplant experience specifically with liver, kidney, and pancreas patients
    • Higher years of specialty experience not explicitly stated; transplant experience required
    • Prior travel experience not explicitly required

    Certifications (as applicable)

    • ACLS (AHA or ARC)
    • BLS (AHA or ARC)

    Background and Compliance Requirements

    • FACIS Level 3 screening within 2 weeks of start and monthly thereafter
    • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks, updated annually
    • Education verification (Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred)
    • Drug screening: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids per CA law)
    • TB screening: Negative QGold or TSPOT within 90 days of start, renewed annually
    • Immunizations and titers required:
      • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
      • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (titers or vaccines)
      • Hepatitis B series or declination
      • Varicella (titers or vaccines)
      • Seasonal Flu vaccination during flu season (11/1 - 4/30) or signed declination
    • Physical exam within 1 year of start
    • Fit mask test within 1 year, renewed annually (with accommodations for religious exemptions or facial hair)
    • Respiratory safety clearance prior to start, renewed annually

    Health and Safety Documents

    • Negative TB or chest x-ray as required
    • Immunization records or documented medical/religious exemptions
    • Physical exam clearance for work
    • Drug testing compliance
    • Seasonal flu vaccination or mask-wearing policy compliance

    Additional Requirements

    • Full 7 years of work history documented with no gaps over 30 days
    • Unit-specific skills checklist, renewed annually
    • References: 2 professional references within 3 years (Aya requirement, not client)
    • Completion and signing of facility-specific documents including:
      • Job description acknowledgment
      • Standards of business conduct
      • Code of conduct
      • Vendor training
      • TB questionnaire
      • Conditional offer of employment attestation (no conditional clearances allowed at this facility)
      • Religious accommodation forms if applicable

    • Floating to other units may be required
