Job Opportunity: Mammography Tech - Radiology

Location: Lafayette, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Specialty: Mammography Tech
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Weekend: Optional, one Saturday per month offered
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: No

Unit Information

Unit: 2nd Floor, Breast Center
Number of Beds: 225
Patient Type: Outpatient
Patient Ratios: 10 Mammography Techs on day shift
Equipment: Hologic Mammography system
EMR System: EPIC

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in mammography (highest required experience)
Valid ARRT Mammography certification
Valid Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) Tech License
Proficient in screening mammography procedures

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Hologic mammography equipment
Skills in breast ultrasound or diagnostic breast imaging

Candidate Profile

Proficient technologist motivated to work in a team environment
Able to complete requested imaging exams in a timely manner
Willing to fill in various shifts if staffing issues arise
