Job Opportunity: ER (Emergency Room) Registered Nurse

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Rotating holidays

• EMR System: EPIC

Patient Population & Environment

• Emergency Department serving all ages
• New York State Designated Stroke Center
• Common skills needed: reading cardiac strips, managing drips, ventilators
• Telemetry skills required
• Hospitalist and Respiratory Therapy available 24/7
• IV team not available
• Pharmacy not available 24/7

Required Certifications & Licenses

• Active New York State Registered Nurse License in good standing
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Additional Notes

• Flexibility with scheduling required (shift options and every other weekend)
• Scrub color: Any
• Nurse aides available on unit

Required Experience
