Job Opportunity: CT Tech - Radiology

Location: Oro Valley, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Key responsibilities include:

Performing basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
Proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
Valid Arizona CT Technologist license (general radiographer license required by the state)
BLS certification
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
Ability and willingness to float to sister facilities as needed

Additional Information

Shift: 3 shifts of 12 hours each (Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
Floating required to nearby facilities
Scrubs: Any color allowed
