Position Overview

• Patient Diagnoses:
  Sepsis, CIWA, Confusion, AMS, COPD, Post-op care, AKI, Trauma, Respiratory failure, Bowel obstruction, Pyelonephritis, Cardiac conditions, Diabetes, GI conditions, Isolation, Suicidal Ideation with medical indications

Experience & Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: 2 years in specialty
• Prior Travel Experience: Required
• Charting System: Epic (experience required)
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS
  • RN Idaho License
  • ACLS (within 12 months of hire)
• Additional Certifications (as applicable): PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB), NIH Stroke Certification, CPI

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility (100-mile radius rule)
• Background checks including 7-year history, education verification, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
• Drug screening (10-panel) within 90 days of start
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start, renewed annually
• Immunizations and titers required:

  • Flu vaccine or approved exemption (seasonal)
  • COVID-19 vaccine or approved exemption
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (positive titer or 2 vaccines)
  • Hepatitis B (positive titer, series, or declination)
  • Varicella (positive titer, 2 vaccines, or documented history)
• Competency exams and color blindness testing as applicable
• Skills checklist and work history verification required annually

Summary

This is a travel contract position for a Medical Surgical RN with at least 2 years of experience and prior travel experience. The role requires night shifts, competency in Epic charting, and multiple certifications including BLS and ACLS. Candidates must comply with extensive health, background, and competency documentation requirements and must live outside a 100-mile radius from the facility. The contract length is approximately 13 weeks.
