Travel RN - Case Management
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Facility Overview
- Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, Level III neonatal intensive care unit
- Only children’s hospital in the region with pediatric emergency room and 30 pediatric subspecialists
- Busiest robotic surgery program in the Carolinas

Unit Information
- Unit Staffing: Includes unit secretaries and tech availability
- Patient Ratios: 1:40
- Documentation Systems: CERNER, NATE, ENSOCARE (post-acute systems)
- Scheduling: Self-schedule
- Floating Policy: Floating where needed
- Dress Code: Business attire
- Team Environment: Supportive leadership and great teamwork
Required Qualifications
- License: Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
- Certifications: BLS required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN specialty experience in case management
- Skills:
- Strong documentation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to shift attention between tasks
- Ability to build trust with team, patients, and families
- Ability to work collaboratively with RN Case Manager (RNCM)

- No specific certifications beyond BLS required
- No prior travel experience required
- Procedures performed on unit: N/A
- No special equipment or scrub color requirements
