Job Opportunity: RN GI Lab / Endoscopy
Location: Elmira, New York

Job Description
Seeking an experienced Endoscopy RN with a strong background in advanced GI procedures including ERCP, EMR, and EUS to support a growing service line.
- Takes call as needed, usually once a week and every 6th weekend.
- Ability to switch call coverage with team members as needed, ensuring no gaps in coverage.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Specialty: RN GI Lab / Endoscopy

- Influenza Vaccine: Required annually or declination with mask-wearing.
- TB Test: Annual testing required with specific timing and follow-up protocols for positives.
- Driver’s License/State ID: Valid, unexpired US driver’s license or state ID required.
- Varicella: Positive IgG titer or 2 vaccine series required.
- Tdap: Preferred within last 10 years or declination form required.
- Physical/Health Statement: Must be completed within last 12 months, including vitals and vision screening.
- Background Check: Agency background check including criminal and county searches within last 7 years required.
- Drug Screen: Must be completed within 30 days of start; marijuana testing not permitted per NY state.
- Resume: Complete employment and education history for last 7 years required.
- Professional References: Two references required (one within last 12 months, one within last 3 years).
- Employment Verification: Verification of most recent employer required.
- Education Verification: Verification of initial nursing degree required.
- Additional Documentation: Various organizational forms and acknowledgments required prior to start (e.g., job description signed, code of conduct, sexual harassment acknowledgment).
Summary
This is a 12-week long-term assignment for an experienced RN specializing in GI Lab / Endoscopy with advanced procedural skills.
