Job Opportunity: CT Tech - Radiology

Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

• Unit: CT
• Procedures: All CT exams including CTA hearts and Calcium Scoring
• Patient settings covered: Inpatient (IP), Emergency Room (ER), Outpatient (OP), and Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures
• Floating policy: None
• Dress code: Scrubs (any color)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist (Radiology specialty)
• Certifications:

  • ARRT (R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist
  • ARRT (CT) - Computed Tomography certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • New Mexico State License in Radiography and CT
• Must be fingerprinted and undergo background check per New Mexico state requirements (travelers may start on a 14-day waiver with supervision while waiting for results)

Skills and Experience

• Ability to work independently and cover multiple patient care areas (IP, ER, OP, IR)
• Cardiac CT experience is a plus
• Flexibility, teamwork, positive attitude, compassion, and empathy are essential qualities

Additional Notes

• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff
