    Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

    Location: Everett, Washington
    Employment Type: Travel/Contract
    Contract Length: 13 weeks


    Job Details

    • Assignment Length: 13 weeks
    • Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours each
    • Weekend Requirement: Yes
    • Call Required: Yes
    • Floating: Yes, between ER and Main CT units
    • Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks (may be called off for 1 shift per 2-week period)
    • Start Date: ASAP
    • Local Candidates: Not accepted

    Required Experience

    • Specialty Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in Radiology/Cardiology (higher of 1 year stated and 2 years accepted for first-time travelers)
    • Specific Experience: Must have experience with GE equipment within the last year and be efficient with Stroke Protocol
    • Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required; first-time travelers accepted if they have at least 2 years experience

    Required Certifications and Licenses

    • Licensure: ARRT-CT and ARRT-R certifications required
    • Basic Life Support (BLS): Required
    • Additional Certifications:
      • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred (AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation)
      • NIH Stroke Certification (required every 2 years)
    • Other Certifications: Must verify per clinical track if additional certifications are required

    • Level II Trauma Center with outpatient, interventional radiology, emergency, and inpatient services

    Job Requirements and Compliance

    • Background Checks: Comprehensive background check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually
    • Drug Testing: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
    • Health Requirements:
      • Physical exam within 1 year of start
      • Fit mask test (N95 or equivalent) required and updated annually
      • Immunizations: TDAP, MMR (Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella), Varicella, Hepatitis B (or declination), Flu vaccine during flu season (declination accepted), COVID vaccine or declination
      • TB test (IGRA/TSPOT, QGold, or 2 PPDs) within 12 months, updated annually
      • Respiratory safety clearance required annually for travel candidates
    • References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment within last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
    • Employment Application: Must include at least last 5 years of employment with month/year format; gaps or overlaps must be explained

    Additional Notes

    • Traveler must be willing to float between ER and Main CT units
    • First-time travelers accepted only with at least 2 years of experience
    • Locals are not accepted for this assignment
    • Modules and training: Completion of required WorkRamp modules and facility-specific training prior to start may be required
    • Badge photo required (passport style with neutral background)
    • Must comply with Providence Health and Services policies including floating policy acknowledgment

    This position is ideal for experienced CT Technologists with ARRT-CT and ARRT-R certifications who are comfortable working in a Level II Trauma Center environment and can meet the required certifications and compliance standards.
