Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Easton, Maryland

Job Description

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), Saturday through Monday
• One on-call night shift per week required (typically Friday)
• Weekend and holiday coverage required as scheduled
• Floating within the department and sister facilities as needed
• Equipment used: GE, PACS
• Must have strong CT and X-Ray skills to function independently
• Not accepting first-time travelers

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Tech
• Must be able to function independently as both CT and X-Ray tech
• Maryland state license required; traveler must apply for MD license within 48 hours of offer acceptance if not already licensed
• Certifications required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ARRT-CT/R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - CT/Radiography)
• Prior travel experience required (will not accept first-time travelers)

Additional Requirements

• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, education verification, and state-specific exclusions
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative drug screen (9 or 10 panel depending on facility) within 30-90 days prior to start
• Immunizations and titers required:

  • TB test or chest X-ray (updated annually)
  • Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption (seasonal)
  • Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Rubella, and Mumps vaccination or positive titer
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start
• Two supervisory references within 1 year of start
• Verification of at least 2 years hospital or equivalent acute care experience within last 5 years

Orientation and Facility Policies

• Orientation typically held on Tuesday at 8 AM (location details provided upon hire)
• Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs or business casual until floor access begins
• Various facility-specific documents and agreements must be signed prior to start

Summary

This is a travel CT Tech position requiring strong independent skills in CT and X-Ray, with a block night schedule including weekends and on-call shifts. The role requires a Maryland license (or immediate application), BLS and ARRT-CT/R certifications, and at least 1 year of CT Tech experience. Prior travel experience is mandatory. Compliance with extensive background checks, immunizations, and facility-specific onboarding is required.
