Description
Job Opportunity: CT Tech - Radiology (Travel)
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Wednesday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Hours Guaranteed: 36 hours per week
EMR Systems: EPIC and McKesson PACS
Facility Type: Stroke Center
Job Description
- Provide stroke coverage as needed.
- Perform all routine CT exams, including invasive procedures.
- Typical patient ratio: 1:1.
- Equipment used: GE 64 Slice CT scanner.
- On-call and weekend coverage as needed.
- Rotating holidays.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT Certification (CT)
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Ability to perform all routine CT exams
- Experience providing stroke coverage
Preferred Skills
- Ability to start IVs.
Work Environment
- Unit located on 2nd floor, Cat Scan department.
- Day shift typically staffed with 2-3 CT techs.
- Dress code: Gray scrubs.
- Friendly, hardworking, and adaptable personality preferred.
