Description
Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)
Location: Apple Valley, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: Primarily 5:45 PM - 6:15 AM; may occasionally cover 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM
- Self-scheduling: Based on seniority
- Ratios: 1:1
- Weekend Requirement: Pending
- On-call: No
- Floating: No floating between units
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once every two-week pay period
- Start Date: ASAP
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in California
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification

Required Compliance and Documentation
- Background Checks:
- Must be completed within 45 days of start and updated annually
- Includes SSN Trace, Death Master Index, Nationwide and County checks, Sex Offender Registry, FACIS Level 3, Education Verification, MVR (if applicable), and international background if applicable
- Education Verification: Required for all candidates
- Drug Testing: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (instant tests not accepted)
- Physical Exam: Within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Immunizations and Health Requirements:
- Flu Vaccine (seasonal, with declination accepted)
- COVID Vaccine or Declination
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 12 months, updated annually
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Respiratory Safety Clearance: Required annually for travel candidates
- Fit Mask Testing: Required annually for travel candidates (onsite if no recent record)
Training and Competency Requirements
- Competency Exams: As applicable by profession and specialty
- Medication/Pharmacology Competency: Required as applicable
- Color Blind Testing: May be required on a unit basis
- Skills Checklists: Required and must be updated annually
- Radiation Badge: Issued by facility (FYI only)
Facility-Specific Training Modules
- Completion of required WorkRamp modules prior to start, including:
- Annual Regulatory Requirements
- Specialty Specific Modules
- Regional Core and Specialty Modules (California region)
- Epic Access Training (if applicable)
References and Employment History
- Minimum of 2 supervisor references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Employment application covering at least the last 5 years (7 years for APN/Subcontractors) with month/year format for dates
Additional Notes
- No pending license accepted
- RTO (Return to Office) restrictions must be included at submission
- Floating policy acknowledgment may be required depending on region
- Weekend requirement is pending confirmation
This position is suitable for CT Technologists with at least 1 year of experience, holding the necessary certifications and California licensure, who are comfortable working primarily night shifts in an acute care hospital setting. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
