Job Opportunity: RN - NICU (Travel)

Location: Joplin, Missouri
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
• Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
• Number of Openings: 3
• Unit: Level III NICU, 16 beds
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:2 or 1:3 (estimates, not guaranteed)
• Float Requirements: Typically to mother/baby and pediatrics as required by facility
• EMR System: EPIC
• Equipment: Primarily GE equipment

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), with NICU experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience in an inpatient setting
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Stable clinical skills in NICU setting
• Experience with bubble CPAP, high flow oxygen therapy, and high-risk deliveries

Work Environment & Culture

• Dress Code: Black scrubs only; no t-shirts with writing except approved M-Wear
• Weekend & Call: Weekend hours and call as required by the facility (typically every other weekend)

Notes

• Flu vaccination is required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1 (exceptions require client approval).
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
