Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Travel)
Location: Chicago, Illinois
Shift: Nights, 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM, Monday through Thursday (4 shifts of 10 hours each)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment with night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- License: Current, valid CT Technologist license for Illinois (or applicable state license) with primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start.
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (must be American Heart Association certified).
- Experience:
- Specialty: CT Technologist

Work Schedule
- Night shift: 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Monday through Thursday
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
Onboarding and Compliance Requirements
- Completion of Ascension Core Competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA topics within one year of start, updated every 3 years.
- Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding and Education Attestation (6 hours pre-hire training).
- Documentation of immunizations and health screenings:
- Two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted).
- Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination.
- Influenza vaccine during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31), exemptions accepted with mask requirement.
- Varicella immunity documentation or vaccination (no declinations accepted).
- Tdap vaccination within last 10 years (no declinations accepted).
- TB screening: Positive IGRA or PPD results, negative chest X-ray within one year, and annual TB questionnaire.
- Fit test for respiratory protection (preferred prior to start, can be completed onsite).
- Health Statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually.
- Drug screening: 12-panel drug test within 30 days prior to start, including MRO review for prescriptions or negative-dilute results.
- Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry, and other checks within 30 days prior to start, updated annually or after breaks in service.
- Employment and education verifications within 90 days prior to start, updated annually or after breaks in service.
- Ascension Skills Checklist for clinical competency within one year of start, updated annually.
- Driver’s License or State ID (must be current and valid).
- Professional photo for badge (white or blue background, no alterations).
Additional Notes
- The Medical Imaging Contract Worker Form is completed onsite by the facility.
- All documentation must be uploaded as required prior to or during onboarding.
- Compliance with all facility and system policies is mandatory.
