Job Opportunity: ICU Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Lakeport, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

The ICU Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient- and family-centered care, addressing potential and actual health and illness problems within the scope and standards of professional nursing practice.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, with ICU experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Notes

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
Candidates must complete and sign various facility-specific documents prior to start, including job description acknowledgment, standards of business conduct, regulatory orientation, and code of conduct.
TB screening questionnaire required within 90 days of start and renewed annually.
Background checks and verifications must be updated as required, including annual updates for certain checks.
Religious and medical exemptions for immunizations and fit testing may be considered with proper documentation and approval.
