Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position
Location: San Antonio, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Employment Type: Travel
- Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Weekend Shifts: 2 weekend shifts per month (with a weekday off)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Floating: Required as per facility policy
- Documentation System: Meditech
Unit & Specialty Information
- Unit: Physical Therapy
- Patient Population: In-patient rehab and acute hospital patients (neuro, ortho, tele, ICU)
- Procedures: Neuro and ortho patient evaluations and treatments, acute care evaluations and treatments
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Texas
- Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience in inpatient and rehabilitation settings
- Physical Therapist experience
- BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in rehab and/or acute hospital
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Certifications in NDT or brain injury
Additional Information
- Start time no later than 8:00 AM
- Dress code: Sage green/olive scrub top, black scrub pants, sage green scrub jacket; white or black undershirts only
- Nail policy: Clean and healthy
- Hair: Neat and clean, no extreme styles or colors; facial hair must be neatly trimmed
- Tattoos: Should be covered when possible; uncovered body art addressed individually
- Piercings: Only ear piercings allowed; no visible piercings elsewhere
