Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)
Location: Portland, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Floating between units: No
- On-call requirement: Yes (One week of standby call during contract)
- Weekend shifts: Yes (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
- Block schedules: No

Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Oregon
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- Completion of at least one travel assignment
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Background check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years, updated annually.
- Drug screen: 10 panel within 90 days of start (no instant tests).
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO.
- Immunizations and health documents:
- TDAP (Tetanus/Diphtheria) within 10 years or declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Flu vaccine during flu season or declination
- COVID vaccine or declination
- Respirator clearance (RespSafety) required annually for travel candidates.
- References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years.
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years.
- Skills checklist and competency exams as applicable.
Work Requirements
- Must be able to work weekends and one week of standby on-call during the contract.
- May be required to float to other Providence facilities within a reasonable distance (float policy acknowledgment required).
- Badge photo required for identification.
- Completion of required WorkRamp training modules prior to start and annually thereafter, including specialty-specific and regional modules.
- Epic system training and transcript required prior to moving to permanent documentation workflow.
Additional Notes
- Facility uses Epic for charting.
- Parking is free.
- Scrub color is flexible (any color allowed).
- Radiation badge issued by facility if applicable.
- Color blindness testing may be required on a unit basis.
This position is ideal for CT Techs with prior travel experience looking for a weekend-focused contract in a short-term acute care setting in Portland, Oregon.
