Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Outpatient Clinic)

Location: Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform surgery education, fracture care education, and other patient care education.
• Triaging patient phone calls: assess and prioritize incoming calls to ensure safe and timely care.
• Manage PT/INRs for surgical patients pre- and post-surgical.
• Submit prescriptions as directed by provider.
• Complete and review FMLA, disability, and other provider-related forms before submission.
• Schedule surgeries.
• Shift: 5x8 hour days, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Locals accepted at a lower rate.
• First-time travelers accepted.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient clinic experience within the last year
• ACLS certification issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• BLS certification issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• PALS certification issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

• Prior travel experience is not required.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
• Locals are accepted but at a lower rate.

This position offers a structured day shift schedule in an outpatient clinic setting with a focus on surgical patient education and care coordination.
