Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Acute Dialysis

Location: Janesville, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Seeking an experienced RN for the Inpatient Acute Dialysis unit.

Schedule:

40 hours per week
Every other weekend and rotating holidays
On-call schedule averaging 3-4 days per month and one weekend per month

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care
Administer prescribed medications and treatments following nursing techniques, policies, standards of care, and state laws
Document care according to standards
Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians or hospital policy, including patient and family education
Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance
Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments to support the patient’s longitudinal plan of care
Apply critical thinking to ensure patient safety and experience, escalating issues appropriately

Required Qualifications

Current Wisconsin RN License
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
Experience: Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in specialty (defaulted to 1 year as no other experience specified)
