Job Description

• Every Other Week (EOW) / Every Other Holiday (EOH) required.
• May include intermittent charge nurse responsibilities; charge training and shadowing provided.

Required Qualifications

License

• Must hold a valid, permanent Registered Nurse (RN) license for Ohio.
• Temporary licenses are NOT accepted.
• Primary source verification of license required within 30 days of start and updated upon expiration.

Certifications

• BLS (American Heart Association) required for clinical positions.

Experience

• Specialty: Medical/Surgical Nursing

Health and Immunizations

• COVID-19 vaccine preferred but not required (medical or religious exemptions accepted).

Background and Verification

• Ohio fingerprinting and national criminal background checks required based on residency duration.
• Education and employment verification within last 5 years through third-party.
• Drug screen within 60 days of start; 10-panel urine drug screen required (instant screens not accepted).
• Social Security trace and other professional verifications as required.

Competency and Skills

• Competency exam with minimum 80% score within 1 year prior to start (one-time requirement).
• Core competencies including HIPAA, OSHA, and Joint Commission topics completed within 1 year prior to start (one-time requirement).
• Completion of required safety and compliance training modules prior to clearance; annual renewal required.

• Non-expired photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID) required.
