    Required Experience

    • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

    • NIH Stroke Certification (every 2 years, if applicable)
    • CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification (if applicable)
    • State License verification and NURSYS verification required for RNs (if applicable)

    Required Background Checks & Verifications

    • Background check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
    • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start, updated monthly
    • Education Verification required for all candidates
    • State-specific searches for Washington (WSP/WATCH Search) within 90 days of start, updated every 2 years for certain facility types
    • Washington OBRA Registry Search for CNAs (if applicable)
    • Drug testing: 10 panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
    • References: Minimum 2 references covering 1 year of employment within last 3 years from supervisors in comparable specialty/setting
    • Employment application covering at least last 5 years of employment

    Required Health Documents & Immunizations

    • Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
    • Fit mask test (N95 or equivalent) required for travel candidates, updated annually
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years or declination accepted
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
    • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer required
    • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination required
    • Varicella vaccination or positive titer required
    • Seasonal flu vaccine or declination required during flu season
    • COVID vaccine or declination required
    • Respiratory Safety Clearance required annually for travel candidates

    Competency Requirements

    • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
    • Competency exams as required by specialty
    • Color Blind Testing (if specifically requested)
    • Specialty-specific competency exams (e.g., Medication Aide exam for CNAs in LTC settings)

    Facility & System Specific Requirements

    • Photo for badge (passport style with neutral background) required
    • Completion of Providence WorkRamp modules (regulatory, specialty-specific, regional core) annually as assigned
    • Kronos Job-Aide & Attestation Form required
    • Epic access training modules required for certain regions and specialties
    • Float policy acknowledgement required (may be required to float to other Providence facilities within reasonable distance)

    Requirements/Qualifications

    • Valid CT Technologist license in Washington
    • Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
    • CT Technologist experience within the last year

    • This position requires some on-call and weekend work (Sundays).
    • No block scheduling is required.
    • The expected patient ratio is 1:2.

    Cons

    Generally speaking, Host Healthcare doesn't always have the highest rate on the market. Having gone with competing agencies in the past, I have often been disappointed and unsupported and ultimately found it wasn't worth the small pay bump
