Job Opportunity: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Harris, New York
Job Details
- Specialty: Labor & Delivery
- Unit Size: 16 beds
- Shift: 12-hour shifts, primarily 7pm - 7am
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Workload: Coverage needed for Labor & Delivery, Postpartum (P/P), Mother/Baby (M/B), and Nursery units
- Number of Rooms:
- Birthing rooms: 4
- Postpartum rooms: 7 (expandable to 12 with swing unit)
Required Qualifications
- Valid New York RN license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- COVID-19 vaccination required (no declination accepted)
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced fetal monitoring skills preferred but not required (basic fetal monitoring skills acceptable)
Additional Information
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
- Candidate must be well-rounded and able to cover multiple areas within the unit
- All required time off (RTO) must be included with candidate submission
This position is ideal for an experienced Labor & Delivery RN licensed in New York, comfortable working night shifts and providing comprehensive care across L&D, postpartum, mother/baby, and nursery settings.
