    Physical Therapist Job Opportunity

    Location: Bakersfield, California
    Contract Length: 13 weeks


    Job Details

    • Setting: Acute Inpatient
    • Patient Types:
      • General Medical/Deconditioned
      • Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA)
      • Total Hip Arthroplasty (THA)
      • Spinal surgery patients
      • General orthopedic patients
      • Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA) patients
    • Areas to Cover: Medical/Surgical, ICU, Emergency Room
    • Patients Treated per Day: Approximately 12

    Schedule

    • Mostly 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
    • Occasionally one day per week from 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
    • Weekend Requirement: One weekend every third weekend (Monday and Friday off those weekends)
    • Holiday Requirement: None

    Required Qualifications

    • California Physical Therapist license
    • BLS Certification (AHA)
    • Acute Inpatient Physical Therapy experience is required

    Additional Information

    • Department-specific orientation provided, including general hospital orientation and time in each area to learn the system
    • Dress code: Burgundy polo and scrub or khaki bottoms
    • No Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) available; one aide to cover one hospital

    This opportunity is suitable for Physical Therapists with acute inpatient experience looking for a 13-week contract in California.
