Job Opportunity: CT Tech
Location: Lander, Wyoming
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Perform diagnostic CT exams under general supervision following established policies and procedures.
- Verify patient identity and review medical records for exam appropriateness.
- Interview patients to obtain and update medical history; assess risk factors such as medications, pregnancy, and psychological indicators.
- Explain procedures to patients, including side effects, risks, benefits, alternatives, and follow-up instructions.
- Set up imaging equipment and acquire images as per physician’s script.
- Review images, make initial observations, document exceptions, and communicate findings to radiologists.
- Recognize and respond to medical emergencies as appropriate.
- Provide physician-prescribed post-care instructions to patients.
- Participate in radiology process improvement activities (quality of care, patient flow, reject-repeat analysis, patient satisfaction).
- Provide imaging education to residents, student technologists, and new employees.
- Able to take call/standby as required.
- May perform duties of a Radiologic Technologist as needed.
Typical Schedule:
- Day shift, 12 hours (6 AM – 6 PM) on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Wyoming.
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
- Experience as a Radiology Technologist.
- ARRT (R) certification.
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Experience with GE Healthcare equipment.

- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
- Must be able to work alone and handle responsibilities independently.
- Call/standby availability required.
