Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: 13 weeks (89 days ≈ 13 weeks)
Job Description
This intermediate-level position involves delivering specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patients. The role supports medical staff in diagnosing, caring for, treating, and monitoring a range of conditions from simple to complex.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform clinical and non-clinical duties independently under general to limited supervision.
- Provide safe, high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, urgent care, and outreach clinics.
- Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve clinical and operational goals.
- Operate specialized imaging equipment to perform diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures.
- Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure completeness and technical quality per protocols and accreditation standards.
- Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting.
- Perform quality control, cleaning, and high-level disinfecting of equipment following manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in continuing education, professional development, and research activities.
- Mentor less experienced team members and provide in-service training.
- Assist with quality assurance and performance improvement tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist, with experience within the last year.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Experience Requirements
- Specialty Experience: Minimum 1 year full-time experience as a certified or registered cardiovascular or radiologic technologist preferred.
- Prior Travel Experience: Not specified / not required.
License Requirements
- Must hold appropriate certification or registration as a CT Technologist consistent with state and professional standards.
