CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Location: Redding, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a travel assignment in a hospital setting. The role involves working in Diagnostic Radiology with exposure to OR, ER, inpatient, and outpatient environments. The department is fast-paced and requires a self-starter ready to hit the ground running.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience (Level II Trauma experience preferred but not required)
• Active BLS (AHA) certification
• Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT)
• Valid California state license for CT Technologist
• Fluoroscopy certification required through the state of California
• Experience with Cerner EMR and Philips imaging equipment (ipatient 64 and big bore 16)

Work Details

• Shifts: 8, 10, or 12 hours (specific shift details provided during interview process)
• Weekend and holiday work may be required
• Radiologist coverage in-house until 6 pm, then on-call
• Floor-specific orientation: 1-2 shifts
• Scrub color: Teal (provided if working in OR)
• Call requirements vary and will be discussed during the interview process

Additional Information

• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced radiology environment
• Night shifts may be more challenging due to fewer resources, but the department is well staffed overall
• Candidates with no prior travel experience will be considered
