Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Clyde, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: CT Tech (Radiology)
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
• Weekend Hours: Only if PTO
• Call Requirements: On call a couple of nights a week, rotated with other techs
• Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric, and some Pediatrics
• Patient Ratios: 20-30 patients per tech (with two techs on shift)
• Equipment: GE imaging systems
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Paragon

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (R)
• ARRT CT certification
• BLS certification
• Ability to perform CT procedures including biopsy, drainage, Coronary CTA, and Nerve Root blocks
• Ability to perform fluoroscopy on the CT machine

Additional Information

• Orientation: Bi-weekly
• Dress Code: Black scrubs required; t-shirts and hoodies are not acceptable
• Work Environment:

  • Facility has 154 beds
  • Trauma level not specified
  • Radiology department focus
• Float Requirements: May be asked to float to MRI if possible

Notes for Candidates

• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel status.
• This position involves working in a hospital with orthopedic, spine, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, emergency, and behavioral health services.
• The area is near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and within driving distance to several cities in NC, TN, GA, and SC.
