Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Saint Joseph, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift:

  • Saturday/Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Monday 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM
• Call: Approximately 2 shifts per month
• Patient Ratio: 1:3
• Work Environment: Very busy hospital setting

Required Qualifications

• CT Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• Completion of at least one travel assignment
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ARRT CT (Computed Tomography) certification
• ARRT R (Radiologic Technologist) certification

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License/State ID
• Background checks including national, state, and county criminal checks, SSN trace, sex offender registry, and federal exclusions
• Education verification with official transcript or diploma
• Primary source verification of certifications and state license within 30 days of start
• Physical exam within the last 12 months (not required annually)
• Drug screening within 30 days of start (includes multiple drug panels)
• Immunizations and health documentation:

  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray (with follow-up if positive)
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or immunity proof/declination
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series, titer, or declination
  • Varicella vaccination or immunity proof/declination
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (mask required if exempt)

Additional Requirements

• Completion of facility-specific confidentiality and code of conduct agreements
• Completion of orientation quizzes and competency exams as applicable
• Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam (pass required with remediation process)
• Medication and pharmacology competency exams as applicable
• Fit testing completed onsite
• References: 2 professional references within 3 years of start
• Employment application and skills checklist required
• Verification of most recent work history
• Missouri state-specific background search within 30 days of start

Notes

• Call shifts are required approximately twice per month.
• This position is not suitable for first-time travel healthcare workers.
• The role requires working in a high-volume, fast-paced hospital environment.
