Location: Santa Maria, California

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Home Health Physical Therapist for a travel contract. The role involves providing care in a home-based setting within an assigned geographical region. The position requires flexibility with shifts, primarily Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with weekend coverage every third weekend and minor holiday work as needed.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in Physical Therapy
Active California Physical Therapy License
Current BLS Certification
Experience with Oasis documentation (government-mandated form)
Home health experience preferred but not required

Work Environment & Additional Information

Work primarily involves orthopedic, stroke, joint, and spinal injury patients
Orientation period of 1.5 to 2 weeks
Business attire with white lab coat required; no jeans
Use of Cerner EMR system
Rehab aides and assistants typically permanent staff
Flexible 8-hour shifts, mostly weekdays
