Description
Registered Nurse – Invasive Cardiology
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Care for critically ill patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab undergoing Interventional Cardiology and Endovascular procedures. Assigned STEMI call with a 30-minute response time.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in invasive cardiology settings.
- Perform preoperative and postoperative care.
- Monitor and sedate patients during procedures.
- Utilize advanced hemodynamic monitoring equipment such as IABP and IMPELLA.
- Manage ventilators.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio.
- ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association only.
- Experience in Cath Lab nursing.
- Proficiency in preoperative/postoperative care and patient monitoring.
- Experience with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently throughout the day.
- May need to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift 250-300 lbs with assistance.
- Ability to push/pull up to 500 lbs with assistance.
- Normal vision and hearing (with or without correction).
- Exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, chemicals, and cleaning products.
