Description

Monitor Tech - Telemetry

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM), 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
Weekend Requirement: Work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
Float Pool Position: Must be willing to float between multiple departments and facilities within the region

Job Description

Provide patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care.
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience, including telemetry experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system
Ability and willingness to float between departments and facilities
