Job Description

Seeking a Registered Nurse with First Assist experience for a temporary assignment. The position involves working in an 8-bed unit with facility-provided scrubs. Orientation is 8 hours (non-billable). Call requirements include 4 hours/hour call-back with holiday and overtime multipliers.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current RN experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current Massachusetts RN license (must be uploaded with profile)
• Active Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification required
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Experience with Meditech Expanse highly preferred
• Operating Room and First Assist skills checklist current within 1 year (documentation required)
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment (documentation required)
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment
• Must include permanent address in profile (travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered)
• Must provide at least two specific interview dates/times of availability (generic availability such as "anytime" is not accepted)
• Requested time off (RTO) during the assignment must be noted and verified at profile upload; no more than 5 days of RTO allowed

Additional Information

• All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission; requests after offer may lead to rescinded offer
• Voicemail must be set up on phone for facility contact
• Facility dress code: scrubs provided
• This is a teaching hospital with a strong focus on patient safety and clinical excellence
