Job Opportunity: Med/Surg Nurse - Nights

Location: King City, California
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide nursing care primarily for non-critical pediatric patients.
Float to the Skilled Nursing Department as needed.
Must have experience with Cerner electronic health records.
Work night shifts.
Hospital may call off up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract based on census changes.
Overtime and billing policies apply for hours worked beyond scheduled shifts.

Required Qualifications

Active California nursing license.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
Prior travel experience is required.

Additional Information

Overtime is paid for hours worked over 40 per week.
Housing in King City can be challenging to find.
Candidates should be prepared for credentialing to be submitted in one batch.
Must be able to work 12-hour shifts with potential for overtime.

This position is suitable for experienced Med/Surg nurses comfortable with pediatric care and skilled nursing float assignments, holding the necessary certifications and licensure for California.
