Job Description

• Med/surg telemetry nurse on a 22-bed unit
• Patient mix includes Cardiac, Respiratory, Surgical, and Mental Health cases

Required Qualifications

License

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of New York
• State license verification must be completed within 30 days prior to start

Certifications

• BLS (American Heart Association)
• ACLS (American Heart Association)

Experience

• Specialty: RN Telemetry I
• Required years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum 1 year in telemetry nursing or med/surg telemetry setting (confirm with recruiter)

Health and Safety Requirements

Background and Screening

• Agency background check within 30 days of start, including criminal and address trace reports
• 9+ panel drug screen within 30 days of start

• Passing score (80% or higher) on core competency exams for nursing
• Valid US driver’s license or state ID (not expired)
