Description
CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)
Location: Martinsburg, West Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging for both adult and pediatric patients (except Interventional Radiology, which is adults only). The position involves working with inpatient and outpatient CT imaging, typically covering 3 twelve-hour day shifts every other weekend.
Required Qualifications
- Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT preferred)
- BLS certification (AHA required)
- Valid West Virginia license for CT Technologist
- Must be able to start IVs
- Radiation badge required (provided by agency, not facility)
- Black scrubs required for all techs
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an address outside 50 miles from the facility
Work Environment & Schedule
- No weekend or holiday work required for travelers
- No call required
- Radiologist on-site from 7 am to 7 pm; on-call from 7 pm to 7 am
- Department uses EPIC EMR and imaging equipment including Canon, Toshiba, and Fuji Synapse
- Orientation varies by modality, generally up to 2 weeks (longer for US/MRI)
Additional Notes
- Previous permanent candidates must have been gone for 2 years before reapplying
- Previous travelers must have been gone for 2 years after completing a full year
- Background checks must be disclosed at time of submission
- Travel teams must be submitted together
- Only 2 candidates can be submitted per opening at a time
