    Job Opportunity: Infusion Nurse (Registered Nurse)

    Location: Modesto, California

    Job Description

    • Provide assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care in a busy outpatient Infusion Center.
    • Deliver direct patient care, patient/family education, and manage transitions of care.
    • Experienced in administration of oncology and non-oncology treatments.
    • Provide holistic, individualized care considering psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
    • Maintain collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers.
    • Adhere to policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws to promote optimal patient experience.

    Work Schedule

    • Shift: 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (4x10)
    • Weekend Requirement: 4-8 weekend shifts per schedule month and holidays as needed.
    • No schedule requests will be granted for holidays.

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
    • Minimum of 1 year of infusion nursing experience, including infusion experience within the last year
    • Oncology infusion experience
    • Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) / ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Provider certificate
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
    • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
    • National Tech Certification Verification
    • Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) certification
    • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
    • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification
    • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
